CBD (Cannabidiol) is a natural component derived from the Cannabis plant and is one of over two hundred ‘Cannabinoids’ that are thought to be present. CBD is non-psychoactive and not to be confused with THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) which causes a ‘high’, CBD does not do this. CBD is highly abundant in the Hemp plant, whereas THC is more prevalent in Marijuana. Hemp derived CBD is legal within the UK, providing the THC content is less than 0.2% per unit. 

We each have Endocannabinoid system that is made up of Cannabinoid Receptors that are responsible for maintaining Homeostasis, or balance within our body systems. These receptors are present throughout each of our body systems and contribute to the regulation of them. Cannabinoids work to promote physiological, chemical, biological and neurological wellbeing.

Sant Olio UK Cannabinoid oils are 'Whole Spectrum' meaning that all Cannabinoids, Terpenes and compounds that are naturally found in the Cannabis Sativa L plant are present, and in their natural ratio. This means are oils are as close to the plant as you can get, and significantly increases it's efficacy making it a far superior product than most on the UK market.  

Thanks to a process that combines new technologies and tradition, we transform Cannabis Sativa L. without using any solvent, keeping the phytocomplex and the natural ratio between cannabinoids (natural share) unchanged. We process first choice plant material in a controlled environment, according to good laboratory practices and managing the entire production chain: from seed to final oil. Consuming a product that is rich in other Cannabinoids and Terpenes activates the Endocannabinoid far more effectively, this is called 'the Entourage effect'.

Yes, as stated above our products must contain less than 0.2% THC per unit, which is a very low and safe level to consume. All our products come with a laboratory report to detail the cannabinoids present, amount and integrity and purity of our products.

The most effective way to take your CBD oil is sublingually (under the tongue) as it has the best absorption rate. 

We recommend you starting on 1-2 drops twice a day. Once you begin activating your cannabinoid receptors and feeding your endocannabinoid system, you can increase or decrease amount as you need. 

A great method we suggest to our customers is to use a mirror to visualise how many drops applied under the tongue, then leave the oil sit and absorb without swallowing. Try not to drink anything 15-30 minutes after taking.



A common drug test typically tests for THC levels, and as our products are naturally very low in THC most of our customers have not experienced any problems. However, we cannot guarantee this as we cannot be sure of what the test is looking for. 

We recommend disclosure to your employers that you are taking CBD before completing the test.

Our bottles contain an average of 200 drops, and therefore this will be dependent on how much you are consuming. A bottle should last approximately 6 weeks based on consumption of 2 drops twice daily.
